Mark co-founded Beer Hawk in 2012, which he scaled from two mates in a shed, to a team of over 170 beery enthusiasts on a mission to inspire customers to find their next favourite beer.
He’s won numerous business awards including Great British Entrepreneur of the Year, and Business Person of the Year at the SME National Business Awards.
As well as being the author of The Entrepreneur Within, he’s also Chair of the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, Trustee and Chair of the Finance & Resources Committee for Red Kite Learning Trust, Operational Partner for Praetura Ventures VC, Non-Executive Director of Ocula Technologies AI and an active angel investor.

Mark is a serial entrepreneur, Non-Executive director and active angel investor. He combines Board-level marketing experience with in-depth growth and innovation experience to help businesses rapidly scale.
He has won several awards as the Co-Founder of Beer Hawk, which he set up in 2012, scaled to a profitable business with over £80m revenue and successfully exited to a strategic buyer - AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer.
He Chaired the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, responsible for local economic development for a UK city region with over 2.3m people and economy of over £60Bn.
He is now CEO for Red Line Foundry, a Keynote Speaker on Growth & Innovation, a Trustee for Red Kite Learning Trust, an Operational Partner for Praetura Ventures VC, and an Industry Adviser for Oxford University’s Said Business School.
And in between all that, he’s also written a book outlining his framework for better innovation titled The Entrepreneur Within.
